The River Rawthey is a river in Cumbria , England . The river arises between the Baugh Fell and the Swarth Fell from the confluence of the Rawthey Gill and Haskhaw Gill .
The river initially flows in a north-westerly direction until it curves south of the Harter Fell to the south-west.
East of Sedbergh , the Clough River flows into the River Rawthey, which flows west from here. West of Sedbergh the River Dee flows into the River Rawthey, which then flows into the River Lune .
