The Clough River is a river in Cumbria , England . The Clough River arises from the Grisedale Beck in the hamlet of Clough north of the railway station Garsdale Station on the Settle – Carlisle railway line .

The Clough River flows west between the Baugh Fell and the Aye Gill Pike , with numerous small drains flowing into it. The Clough River joins the Rawthey River east of Sedbergh .
