Cebollitas (German: "The Onion") is an Argentine television series that was broadcast from January 1, 1997 to November 1998 without interruption with a total of 458 episodes on the Argentine television station Telefe .

The telenovela infantil juvenil (youth series) was produced in Argentina by Enrique Torres and then broadcast in numerous other countries.

The series tells the stories of a group of football children who honor the Argentine football idol Diego Armando Maradona , who played on the Los Cebollitas team in his youth and then became an Argentine football star.

Well-known actors were Darío Lopilato and Dalma Maradona , among others .
