Darío Eduardo Lopilato de la Torre (born January 29, 1981 in Buenos Aires , Argentina ) also called Dario Lopilato or Darío Eduardo Lopilato , is an Argentine actor . He became known for his portrayal of Coqui Argento in "Casados ​​con Hijos", the Argentina version of the television series A Terribly Nice Family .

Life

Dario Lopilato is the only son of Beatriz and Eduardo Lopilato de la Torre, he has two sisters Daniela and Luisana , who works as an actress, singer and model. Lopilato began his career when he appeared in Chris Morena's telenovela "Chiquititas" from 1995 to 1999 . He has also made a few appearances in commercials on Argentine television. Until 1997 he had a role in the series "Cebollitas". In 2000 he was seen in the Argentine telenovela "Luna salvaje". Lopilato played the cholo in two episodes (2002/2003) in “Rebelde Way”, another well-known Argentinian show. However, he did not become famous until 2005 through his appearances in "Casados ​​con Hijos" with his sister Luisana Lopilato, Guillermo Francella and Florencia Peña. This series served as a template for theater, film and radio. Two projects in which he participated, "Casados ​​con Hijos" 2006 and "El Capo" 2007, received the Martín Fierro Award for the best comedy.

Not only is he a famous comedian in Argentina, he also studied environmental engineering at the Catholic University in Salta in 2008 . At the theater he also had a few appearances in the "Jungle Book", in comedies or romantic plays. In the summer of 2010 he hosted a program called "Acqua" on the radio. In the winter of 2011 Darío decided to start a new project with his father Eduardo and founded his own production company.
