Luisana Loreley Lopilato (born May 18, 1987 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine actress , singer and model .

She made her TV debut in 1999 in the role of Luisana Maza in the telenovela "Chiquititas" and became known in many Latin American countries. From 2002 Luisana played the role of Mia Colucci in the series Rebelde Way and in the TV movie Erreway: 4 caminos (2004). With the band Erreway she has released 4 albums as a singer.

Life

Luisana is the third daughter of Eduardo and Betty Lopilato. Her only brother is the actor Darío Lopilato . Her sister Daniela helped Luisana write her first song lyrics, which she published with Felipe Colombo for the series Chiquititas and Rebelde Way . The two were even a couple. However, nothing could come of this relationship because she was only 16 years old at the time. Felipe and Luisana separated on a friendly basis. She later met actor Mariano Martínez while filming the series Alma Pirata , where her former bandmate Benjamín Rojas also played, and they also became a couple. However, the two separated in December 2006. Luisana's great role model is the jazz singer Michael Bublé , to whom she has been officially engaged since autumn 2009. They got married in Buenos Aires at the end of March 2011. Their son was born on August 27, 2013.

Acting career

Lopilato began her acting career on the telenovela Chiquititas in 1999 when she was twelve years old. In the series she played the role of Luisana Maza . She met her future band colleague Camila Bordonaba while filming. After Luisana left Chiquititas ( known as " Tiny Angels " in the US ), she took on a role again from the fifth season of this show and played with Chiquititas until the end . From 2004 Luisana played the role of Mia Colucci , the daughter of a wealthy businessman, in the telenovela Rebelde Way - Leb 'dein Leben . She later played the role of the same name in Erreway 4 Caminos , which was the official end of the Rebelde Way series and the beginning of her band Erreway , founded in 2002 . Since 2005 she has starred in several films that are unknown in Germany.

Music career

During the filming of Rebelde Way , Luisana formed the band Erreway in 2002 together with Camila Bordonaba , Felipe Colombo and Benjamín Rojas . She released the albums Tiempo , Señales and Memoria with the band . Luisana was no longer part of the band's Spain tour in 2005 because she was filming Casados ​​con Hijos at the time . She told the manager of the band that she could not take part in the tour due to the filming, but that she wanted to be back on the next tour. However, the manager never told the rest of the band about this. Luisana officially left the band in 2007. Luisana is currently working on her solo career. She is currently recording her debut solo album, which is said to be very melodic and jazz-like. She wants to gain a reputation like Hilary Duff and Ashlee Simpson .

Model career

Lopilato has been working as a model since 2006. Together with former bandmates Bordonaba and Benjamín Rojas, Luisana worked as an underwear model for the fashion company 47 street fashion . Together with three other models, she started her campaign for her first autumn-winter collection in 2008. Since 2006 she has participated in the "Promesse" campaign for life jackets.
