Erreway was a pop band from Argentina . The band split in 2004 but reunited for some concerts in Spain in December 2006 after Rebelde Way became a hit in Spain. Its members were Felipe Colombo , Luisana Lopilato , Benjamín Rojas and Camila Bordonaba . Erreway sold over a million albums worldwide. The band was supported by the Cris Morena Group until the label change from Sony BMG to Warner Music . The band's most successful albums are Tiempo , Señales and El Disco de Rebelde Way, each of which was in the Spanish charts for several weeks. The latter album was number 1 for 28 weeks.

Background 1996-2001: Chiquititas
Chiquititas known television series for children and young adults from producer Cris Morena in Argentina was produced and in countries such as Brazil and Mexico was broadcast. Camila Bordonaba, who played Pato on the series, was the first of the four members to appear on the series. In 1999, however, her role was canceled. She later returnedon the seriesas Camila Bustillo .
Felipe Colombo starred in the Mexican version of the series before being incorporated into the original series in Argentina in 1999.
Benjamín Rojas and Luisana Lopilato were cast in 1999 and 2001. In the film Chiquitatas - Rincon da Luz , a spin-off of the series, both got a role.
At this time all four members recognized their musical talent.
2002–2003: Rebelde Way, Señales and Tiempo
After Erreway was founded, the series Rebelde Way was filmed, with the members of the band as the main characters. Rebelde Way tells the story of four young people who form a band. The only parallel to the series is the band itself, because the characters played differ from the real personalities of the band members. Erreway provided the music for the series.
The band signed a contract with the Sony BMG music label , where they produced their first album in 2002, called Señales . It has sold a million copies worldwide and was awarded the gold record in Argentina. The songs on the album were all used in the first season of the Rebelde Way series. The singles Sweet Bab , Bonita de Más , Resistiré , Inmortal , Amor de Engaño and Será Porque Te Quiero . The second album Tiempo came out a year later and sold two million copies, with critics claiming that Tiempo is their best release to date. After the singles Tiempo , Será de Dios , Para Cosas Buenas , Que Estés , Te Soñé and Vas A Salvarte became internationally successful, the band went on a Nuestro Tiempo tour , where they were supported by co-actors from the series Rebelde Way, especially from Victoria Maurette and Piru Sáez were accompanied. The series ended in 2003.
2004–2005: Memoria, 4 Caminos and the separation from Luisana Lopilato
In 2004, after the series ended, the band signed several contracts to produce another album that would be part of the spin-off of the series called Erreway 4 Caminos . This film first aired on June 1, 2004 and received mostly negative reviews , with the film becoming a huge hit. The only single on the album, also called Memoria and containing a B-side of the song Que Se Siente , reached # 1 on the Argentine Billboard charts.
After the successful Gira 2004 tour , the band announced that they would take an artistic break for the first time.
In 2005 the band did their first tour without Luisana Lopilato, due to the scheduling conflicts between the tour dates and the production of the series Casados con Hijos . A short time later the band announced the resignation of Luisana Lopilato from the band. In an interview with the Argentine version of Bravo , she confirmed her exit from the band and also made it clear that she would not return to the band.
2006 until today: Current situation
After Felipe Colombo and Camila Bordonaba flew to Spain in the summer of 2006 to promote their compilation CD Erreway en concierto , the band gave a concert in front of more than 50,000 spectators a year later at the Sunny Happy Day , a Spanish music festival. Shortly thereafter, another best-of compilation was released , called Erreway presenta su caja recopilatoria . The band canceled another tour of Spain, but promised that the tour would make up for it after the release of their new studio album. This is to be produced in Spain. The album, which is called Vuelvo and contains 12 songs, was originally supposed to be released in 2008, but the exact release date has been postponed. In October 2009 it was said that the band would reunite as a quartet and perform as The International Day Of Erreway , but this did not happen.

Camila Bordonaba wrote songs for the internet series "Por Ti" (German: For you), where she herself took on a leading role. Felipe Colombo released the song "Donde Estas Princesa" which was played on Rebelde Way. Felipe plans to move back to Mexico after his music career , where he will then buy a banana plantation .

Bordonaba and Rojas were not only a couple in the series Rebelde Way, but also outside of the television world. They started dating when the Chiquititas series was being produced. Their relationship ended while the road movie Erreway 4 Caminos was being produced .
Even Colombo and Lopilato were together for 5 years. While her bandmates were in an open relationship, they kept silent about hers. Their relationship broke up due to a sextape affair . Lopilato achieved great media interest through her relationships with actor Mariano Martínez , tennis player Juan Mónaco and singer Michael Bublé .
After Rebelde Way became a great success, they produced a Mexican version ( Rebelde ), where the band, the RBD, is also very successful and booked several chart positions in the USA , as well as several nominations for the Latin Grammy Award . The media spread rumors that there are conflicts between the bands, which both bands deny. Bordonaba explained in an interview that there are no rivalries between the two bands, only minor conflicts occur between the fans of both bands.

The band released two songs, Dos Segundos and Coulette Sexy , which appear several times in the series, but were never released on an album of the band. Coulette Sexy was recorded by Luisana Lopilato , Camila Bordonaba , Victoria Maurette and Micaela Vázquez . Dos Segundos was recorded by Benjamín Rojas and Camila Bordonaba and only released as a single. The band also plays a cover of the song We Will Rock You by the band Queen at their concerts .
