Señales is the first studio album by the Argentine pop band Erreway , which was produced in 2002. Like the other albums, Señales was released by the Yair Dori Entertainment label under the production of Maria Cristina DeGiacomi. The album contains 12 songs from the Argentine youth series Rebelde Way , including the songs Bonita de Más or the title song of the same name from the Rebelde Way series . The album, like the Tiempo and Memoria albums, was sold in more than 26 countries.

Sale and Success

The album sold a million copies worldwide and was awarded two gold records in Argentina . The album also reached 41st place on the Spanish music charts in 2006 , where the album lasted for a total of 11 weeks. The album reached first place in the Argentine Billboard charts as well as in the Israeli charts .

Singles

Six singles were released for the album, called Bonita de Más , Resistiré , Será Porque Te Quiero , Sweet Baby , Amor de Engaño and Inmortal .

Sweet baby

Sweet Baby is the first single from the album, written by Cris Morena and Carlos Nilson . It was also recorded in the series, where it was written by Mía Colucci ( Luisana Lopilato ). In the series, Colucci was not in the band at the beginning of the formation, but was replaced instead for Felicitas Miter ( Angeles Balbiani ) and was only performed together with Mia after Miter left the band.

The song is one of the most famous songs of the band and is included on all live and compilation albums. This song has been performed on every tour of the band so far, the last time on the Happy Summer Tour in Spain in 2007, where the band performed as a trio after leaving Lopilato .

Bonita de Más

The second single for the album is called Bonita de Más and was also written by Cris Morena and Carlos Nilson. The song was recorded by Camila Bordonaba , Felipe Colombo , Benjamín Rojas , Luisana Lopilato and by the actors of the series Rebelde Way , including Victoria Maurette .

Bonita de Más is the band's first song to be used in the series (not counting Rebelde Way and Resistiré , both of which were the series’s theme songs ).

Like Sweet Baby , Bonita de Más is one of the best-known songs, which are also included on all live and compilation albums and were played on every tour.

Resistiré

Resistiré , the third single from the album, was recorded by the four Erreway members and other actors from the Rebelde Way series (including: Victoria Maurette , Diego Mesaglio , Jazmin Beccar Varela and Micaela Vázquez ). Like all other songs in the band, the song was written by Cris Morena and Carlos Nilson.

The song is the song in the credits of the first season in the series. In this series, Pablo Bustamante (played by Benjamín Rojas ) wrote the song for Marizza ( Camila Bordonaba ).

So far the song has been played at every concert by the band and is included in all live albums and compilations.

Inmortal

Inmortal , the fourth single on the album was recorded by Felipe Colombo and Benjamín Rojas . In the Rebelde Way series , Mia wrote the lyrics and Pablo composed the music .

The video shows Colombo and Rojas recording the songs and a love story between Marizza (Camila Bordonaba) and Marcos (Diego García).

Like Sweet Baby , Bonita de Más and Resistiré , Inmortal is one of the band's greatest hits. It was also recorded on all live albums and compilations, and performed in every concert .

Cupid de Engaño

Amor de Engaño is the fifth release from the album Señales . This was only recorded by Felipe Colombo, with Camila Bordonaba, Benjamín Rojas and Luisana Lopilato as background singers.

The song was recorded on all live albums and compilations, as well as performed in all previous concerts.

Será Porque Te Quiero

Será Porque Te Quiero is the last single from the album Señales .

The song was performed in the series Rebelde Way several times, including for the birthdays of Mia Colucci and Marizza Pía Spirito .

Styles

The styles change, depending on the song the genre. For example, the song Será Porque Te Quiero occasionally contains elements of hip-hop . In the song Perder Un Amigo (German: to lose a friend) there are isolated elements of pop music and in the song Rebelde Way (German: rebellious way) there are clear features of rock music . The elements match the respective theme of the respective song. The exception is the song Bonita de Más , which combines influences from Latin American dance music and modern pop music.
