Victoria Maurette (born July 30, 1982 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine actress and singer .

Life

Victoria Maurette was born on July 30, 1982 in Buenos Aires. In the first twelve years of her life, she lived with her family mainly abroad, including in the USA , Ecuador and Mexico , until she and her family returned to Argentina in 1994, where she studied at the Asociaciones Escuelas Lincoln . Shortly thereafter, she began her acting career.

In 2001 she signed her first professional contract for the musical Disney Magical Moments . After this gig, several managers noticed her and in 2002 she got her first role on television , where she played Victoria "Vico" Paz in the series Rebelde Way . She performed there with Benjamin Rojas , Felipe Colombo , Luisana Lopilato and Camila Bordonaba , who founded the band Erreway in the same year . She also went on tour with the band.

In 2004 she starred in the soap No hay 2 sin 3 and three years later in the English-language thriller Bulletface . In 2007 she also starred in the horror film Left for Dead and in 2008 in another horror film ( Dying God ).

Before Maurette started her solo music career, she was mainly active with the band Erreway and was a background singer on some songs , but she was never a permanent member of the band. In 2004, after leaving the No hay 2 sin 3 series , she began taking singing and songwriting lessons. In 2005 she finally released her debut album Paso a Paso and the singles Si Solo Supieras , Buenas Noches , Sin Querer and Anque .
