The company was founded in 2002 by Cris Morena, who has been involved in several plays and series, especially those in Latin America , since 1991 . While other companies she founded specialize in a specific area, the Cris Morena Group not only produces television series, but also records, magazines , musicals and plays .

Cris Morena, who began her musical career as a pianist in 1980, has written several texts for films, including Erreway's Memoria and Tiempo . Furthermore, she has already composed over 500 songs that are very well known among young adults in Argentina and Latin America . She has worked with the country's most commercially successful bands such as Bandana (disbanded), Erreway (label changed) and Teen Angels .
