Cecilie Myrseth
Cecilie Myrseth (born July 27, 1984 in Harstad ) is a Norwegian politician of the social democratic Arbeiderpartiet (Ap). She has been a member of the Storting since 2017 .
Life
From 2007 to 2015 Myrseth studied psychology at the University of Tromsø . In 2007 she moved into the Fylkesting of what was then the province of Troms , and from 2011 she was the parliamentary leader of her party. In 2015 she finally became the chairwoman of Fylkesråd , the board of parliament. She had previously run as the top candidate for her party. In 2014 she was elected chairman of the Arbeiderpartiet in Troms.
In the 2017 general election , she entered the Norwegian national parliament in Storting for the first time . There she represents the constituency of Troms and Myrseth is a member of the economic committee.
