The Celemony Software GmbH is a music software company from Munich. It was founded in 2000 by Peter Neubäcker , together with his wife Hildegard Sourgens and programmer Carsten Gehle, who is now the company's technical director. The company became famous for its music software Melodyne and the Direct Note Access (DNA) technology, which was presented at the Frankfurt Music Fair in 2008. In 2014 the company had over twenty employees, Anselm Rößler was the managing director.

In addition to Melodyne, Celemony sells the restoration software Capstan, which can eliminate synchronization problems in audio recordings and which has already been used to restore some tapes from classical concerts that were believed to be lost . Together with Presonus, Celemony developed ARA Audio Random Access (ARA), an extension for existing audio interfaces such as VST , AU and RTAS .

Celemony received the Technical Grammy Award at the Grammy Awards 2012 , which recognizes "merits of exceptional technical importance in the recording sector". Along with Georg Neumann GmbH, Celemony is only the second German company to receive this award.
