Cellophane wrapping

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

By lamination (also known as film lamination) are printed matter of special refinement. The surface of the printed matter is coated with a very thin film . This procedure is used especially for business cards , flyers or brochures .

The coating gives the pressure piece good grip and abrasion protection and also refines its appearance. Cellophane wrapping is possible in matt or high gloss.

Normal matt surfaces are very sensitive. Matt cellophane wrapping is much more durable and gives the product a pleasant feel. The glossy cellophane wrapping enhances the color effect of the print.

The film can be applied on one or both sides.
