Centocelle

The VII Munizipium Centocelle was one of the 19 municipalities of the City of Rome that existed until March 11, 2013. It was in the east of the city in connection with the municipality of Prenestino and extends roughly between Via Casilina and the railway line Rome - Pescara .

Centocelle had 123,402 inhabitants (2010). It was divided into the following districts.

The area was settled at the beginning of the 20th century. The main shooting routes were Via Prenestina and Via Casilina .

After March 11, 2013, a new Munizipium VII was formed, which consists of parts of the former Munizipium IX and X. The former Munizipium VII together with the Munizipium VI became the Munizipium V.
