The Cerros del Guaycurú is a group of hills in Uruguay .
They are located in the northern area of the department of San José , but are not part of the Cuchilla de Guaycurú . The elevations described as rough are bordered by the Arroyo del Guaycurú , the Arroyo del Mahoma and the Río San José . At least at the beginning of the 20th century, there should have been extensive game reserves there.
