César Fabián Delgado Godoy (born August 18, 1981 in Rosario ) is a former Argentine football player . He is married and has a daughter.

"El Chelito" is 174 cm tall and weighs 72 kg. His greatest international success was the second place in the Confederations Cup 2005 with the Argentine national team . He made 20 appearances for Argentina in which he scored two goals.

Delgado's career began at Rosario Central in the Primera División , the top division in Argentine football. In 2003 he switched to the Cruz Azul CD . In the 2003 Apertura he scored eight goals in 16 appearances. In the following Clausura he scored eight goals in 21 games. In the 2004/2005 season, Delgado scored 16 goals in 33 games. In 2005/06 he scored 18 goals in 38 games. In 2006/07 he played for Cruz Azul for the last time and scored seven goals in 27 games. From 2008 to 2011 he played for Olympique Lyon , then for CF Monterrey and at the end of his career in 2016 for Rosario Central.
