Chalet Les Lions in Houlgate

The chalet Les Lions in Houlgate , a French commune in the Calvados department in the Normandy region , was built in 1900. The villa at No. 4, boulevard Jacques Landry owes its name to the lion sculptures on the house facade.

The building in the Normandy architectural style has a half-timbered upper floor with a large dwelling on the street side. The terrace is covered by the projecting upper floor, which is supported by four pillars with grotesque heads. These are reminiscent of medieval sculptures.
