Challenger is a Franco-Belgian comic series published between 1990 and 1992 .

Professor Challenger starts an expedition with his colleague Professor Summerlee, the adventurer Lord John Roxton and the journalist Ted Mallone to an unexplored area in the Amazon in order to prove the existence of some animal species from prehistoric times.

André-Paul Duchâteau edited the novel The Forgotten World by the British writer Arthur Conan Doyle for a comic book publication. The drawings came from Patrice Sanahujas . The series appeared directly on Lefrancq in album form and was later reissued. A third episode did not come to fruition.
