Chamberlain Squash Open 2018

The Chamberlain Squash Open 2018 took place in Lagos , Nigeria , from May 9-12, 2018 . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2017/18 and belonged to the PSA 25 category . The women's squash tournament was part of the women's PSA World Tour 2017/18 and belonged to the PSA 10 category .

Zahed Mohamed won the tournament with a final victory over Youssef Soliman . Mohamed decided the final 11: 7, 11: 5 and 11: 4 for himself. Millie Tomlinson won the women's game, defeating Menna Hamed 11: 4, 13:11 and 11: 7 in the final.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Adewale Amao a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize money was $ 25,000.
