The Chamberlin Rampart ( English for Chamberlin protective wall ) comprises a series of icy cliffs in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Churchill Mountains, these rise in the middle of the western slope of the Darley Hills . The cliffs reach a height of 1200 m and are separated from each other by heavily furrowed glacier ice.
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the formation in 2003 after Wellman Chamberlin (1908–1976), National Geographic Magazine cartographer between 1935 and 1970.
