Chandiroor Divakaran
Chandiroor Divakaran (real name: K (alathil) M (akki) Divakaran ; Malayalam ചന്തിരൂർ ദിവാകരൻ ; born May 10, 1946 in Chandiroor , Travancore ) is an Indian poet , songwriter and songwriter in the Malayalam language .
life and career
Divakaran was born in Chandiroor, the son of Kalathil Makki and Kurumba. He started writing at the age of 19. He received his intermediate diploma in Sanskrit and his diploma in Malayalam in 1973. From 1980 to 2001 Divakaran worked as a poet for the Kerala State Housing Board . He also wrote folk songs and songs in the Villu Pattu style.
Divakaran is married and has three children.
