Change of Heart (John Carroll Song)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Change of Heart is a song by Jule Styne (music) and Harold Adamson (lyrics) released in 1943.

Styne and Adamson wrote Change of Heart for the music film Hit Parade of 1943 (1943, directed by Albert S. Rogell ), with John Carroll and Susan Hayward as the leading actors, who also introduce the song in the film. Change of Heart received an Oscar nomination for Best Song in 1944 . Change of Heart earned Styne a third Oscar nomination.

The song should not be confused with the Dean Martin title of the same name from the film New Faces of 1956 (Capitol 3295) or with André Previn's composition (You've Had a) Change of Heart .
