Traversing
When traversing (. O. Fr. iridescent ., Neulat cambiare ., Lat cambire change =, exchange, change) are different types of transitions, that is of immediate merging changes or changes indicated:
- The color change at different angles of illumination, especially of fabrics , papers and minerals ( alexandrite effect ). In the case of fabrics, this effect is achieved through differently colored warp and weft threads.
- In the hunter's language, the change of a track (losing and taking up another track) by a hunting dog.
- In equestrian art, the transition from one hand to the other, for example diagonally crossing the riding arena or changing from right to left canter.
