Changsha Maglev Express

The Changsha Maglev Express ( Chinese 长沙 磁浮 快 线 ) is a low and medium speed magnetic levitation train in the Chinese city of Changsha . This is China's second maglev line, after the Shanghai Transrapid , and the first domestically built maglev to use local technology. The line extends for 18.55 kilometers and runs between Changsha-Huanghua International Airport , Langli Railway Station and the Changsha South High-Speed Railway Station. The vehicles are designed for a speed of up to 120 km / h, but currently they run at a maximum speed of 100 km / h.

Train frequency
The first train departs at 7:00 am from the airport station or Changsha South station. The last train leaves Changsha South Railway Station at 10:00 PM or the Airport Railway Station at 10:30 PM.
