Changtai
The Changtai District ( Chinese 长泰 县 , Pinyin Chángtài Xiàn ) belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture -level city of Zhangzhou in the Chinese province of Fujian . Changtai has an area of 893.1 km² and a population of approx. 188,200 inhabitants (end of 2003, only residents with main residence in Changtai were calculated). In the census in 2000, however, 190,288 inhabitants were counted.
Administrative structure
At the community level, Changtai consists of four large communities and one community. A state farm and an industrial area are calculated separately. These are (2000 population census):
- Large community Wu'an (武 安镇), 46,351 inhabitants, capital, seat of the district government;
- Yanxi Municipality (岩 溪镇), population 38,490;
- Greater community Chenxiang (陈巷镇), 36,992 inhabitants;
- Large village Fang Yang (枋洋镇), 34 637 inhabitants;
- Banli municipality (坂 里 乡), 13,148 inhabitants;
- Gunong State Farm (古 农 农场), 11,582 residents;
- Xingtai Industrial Area (兴泰 工业 区), 9,088 inhabitants.
