Chanina of Surah

Hanina of Sura (English Hanina of Sura ) was a Jewish scholar in the 4th century. He is considered a 5th generation Amora and was a contemporary of Mar Sutra and Rab Papi ( Rab Papa ?).

Hanina taught at the school at Sura in Babylonia . In the Babylonian Talmud , there are some passages from it.
