Chantal Simonot

Chantal Simonot (born September 22, 1962 in Besançon ) is a French politician from the National Front .

In 2004, Simonot was elected to the European Parliament in the Nord-Ouest constituency. However, after around three months, on September 30, 2004, she resigned her mandate; her successor was Fernand Le Rachinel . Until then she was a member of the Transport and Tourism Commission and the Delegation for European Union relations with the Korean Peninsula . She was a member of the Identity, Tradition and Sovereignty faction , which was dissolved a few years later.
