The Chaos Computer Club Vienna ( C3W ) was founded on October 5th, 2002 as Chaosnahe Gruppe Wien ( CNGW ). On September 1, 2007, the association's activities were discontinued, and it was decided to reactivate it on January 18, 2016.

The C3W itself, like other groups close to chaos in Austria, is an independent association close to the Chaos Computer Club . According to Austrian association law, the C3W has all the offices that an association must hold.

Chaos goes to school
