Chapicuy is a town in Uruguay .
geography
It is located in the area of the Department of Paysandú in its sector 4 north of the Arroyo Carpinchurí , a right-hand tributary of the Arroyo Chapicuy Grande . The Arroyo Chapicuy Chico also flows a few kilometers north . A few kilometers to the east is Bella Vista, the next larger settlement. Other places in the area are Cerro Chato and Gallinal in the southeast and Termas del Daymán and Salto in the north.
Infrastructure
Chapicuy is on Ruta 3 . In addition, the Salto - Paso de los Toros railway line runs through the town.
