The Arroyo Chapicuy Grande is a river located in western Uruguay .
The river, which belongs to the catchment area of the Río Uruguay, has its source near the Cuchilla de Haedo . From there it runs in the area of the Paysandú department in a westerly direction to its confluence with the Río Uruguay south of the city of Salto . Its main tributary is the Arroyo Carpinchury .
