The Arroyo Carpinchurí , also Arroyo Carpinchury , is a river located in western Uruguay .

The river, which belongs to the catchment area of the Río Uruguay, rises northeast of the Cerro Santa Blanca or southeast of the Cerro del Escondite in the area of ​​the Department Paysandú . From there it runs westwards to its confluence with the Arroyo Chapicuy Grande southwest of Chapicuy . The name Carpinchury has its origin in the language of the Guaraní , whereby it represents a combination of Castilian and the Guaraní language.
