Chares (vase painter)
Chares ( ancient Greek Χάρης ) was a Greek vase painter. He was in Corinth in the 2nd quarter of the 6th century BC. Active.
He is only known by his signature on a late Corinthian pyxis from an unknown site with depiction of horsemen in a silhouette-like manner from the Trojan legend, which is now in Paris, Louvre E 609 (CA 298).
