Charles Braibant (born March 31, 1889 in Villemomble , † April 23, 1976 in Paris ) was director general of the French archives .

Charles Braibant, as general director of the archives of France, realized a long-cherished idea in 1950: every student should come into contact with archival materials at least once during their school days. The "Service éducatif", which can be traced back to him, is now a constant in the collaboration between schools and archives.
