Charles Millot (clergyman)

Charles Millot (* 1717 in Lorraine ; † June 9, 1769 in Brabant-le-Roi ) was a French cleric and encyclopedist .

Live and act

He served as a priest in Loisey-Culey from 1743 to 1769 and then lived in Brabant-le-Roi until his death. His contributions to the Encyclopédie were the articles affabilité and entêtement .

His membership in the Société littéraire de Châlons-sur-Marne in 1768 is also known .
