Charles Morgan (politician, 1828)
Charles Rodney Morgan ( December 2, 1828 , † January 14, 1854 ) was a British politician who was once elected as a member of the House of Commons .
Charles Morgan came from the Morgan family , a Welsh gentry family . He was the eldest son of Charles Morgan and his wife Rosamund Mundy. Morgan entered the British Army as an officer cadet and served in the Coldstream Guards . In the general election in 1852 he was elected as a Conservative Party candidate for Brecon . His early death prevented his further career. Since he died unmarried, his younger brother Godfrey became his father's heir.
