Charlie Beck
Charles "Charlie" Lloyd Beck (born June 27, 1953 in Long Beach , California ) is a former American police officer . From 2009 to 2018 he was Chief of Police of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). He is best known for running the Rampart division , named after the Rampart scandal of the late 1990s .
