Charlotte Bøving

Charlotte Bøving (born August 15, 1964 in Aarhus ) is a Danish actress and theater director .

Professional activity

In 1992, she completed training at the Drama School of Aarhus from theater and remained there until 1996 under contract. She then moved to Copenhagen and began working as a freelancer, receiving the Henkel Prize in 1995 and being named Actress of the Year.

Charlotte Bøving lives in Reykjavík , the capital of Iceland , where she appeared in the films Hross i os (2013) and Sture Böcke (Original: Hrútar; 2015), among others . Charlotte Bøving also played mountaineer Lene Gammelgaard in the international drama Everest (2015), directed by Baltasar Kormákur .
