Charlottenburg flea market

The flea market and art market in the Charlottenburg flea market on Straße des 17. Juni has been held every Saturday and Sunday at the Charlottenburger Tor in the Berlin district of Charlottenburg from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. since 1973 .

The market attracts a large number of visitors and tourists. The numerous traders in the market offer various forms of junk and handicrafts. The market is divided into a flea market (east of the Charlottenburger Tor) and an arts and crafts market (west of the Charlottenburger Tor).

history

The market was founded by Michael Wewerka as the first Berlin flea market in 1973, initially it was held on Klausenerplatz . It has been held in front of the Ernst Reuter House since 1978 . The arts and crafts market was first held in 1988.
