Chart Industries is a US-American plant engineering company headquartered in Ball Ground , Georgia . The company develops and builds systems for gas liquefaction , tanks, industrial heat exchanger systems and dewar vessels for medical applications.
Chart Industries was founded in 1992 by the brothers Arthur and Charles Holmes and served as a holding company for their corporate investments. In the following decades the company grew by taking over several companies in the field of refrigeration and gas handling.
Chart Industries has three branches in Germany through various subsidiaries. At the locations in Goch , Monheim am Rhein and Wuppertal , tank trailers and flow rate measuring systems are manufactured, among other things.
