  • Achieve by properly integrating products for our customers.

  • Develop global thinking and presence.

history

In 1945 the President of the Board of Trade , Richard Stafford Cripps , ordered the formation of a committee to formulate detailed proposals for an organization that would serve as a central point of contact for all management-related activities. The main cause was the realization that corporations existed for many sub-areas, but not for the overall topic. The British Institute of Management ( BIM ) was founded in 1947 . Founded under the leadership of the government of Prime Minister Clement Attlee ( Labor ), BIM has held a stigma for more than 20 years. The choice of bad leaders did the rest, so that the intended goals were never achieved.

In 1992, BIM merged with the Institution of Industrial Managers (IIM) and thus formed the newly created Institute of Management (IM).

In 2002 the Royal Charter was granted. This changed the name to "Chartered Management Institute. Neither the IM nor the CMI were able to achieve the goals that were set for BIM in 1947 by 2016.
