Mokra Kalyhirka ( Ukrainian Мокра Калигірка ; Russian Мокрая Калигорка Mokraja Kaligorka ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Cherkassy Oblast with about 2000 inhabitants (2001).

The village is located at an altitude of 171  m about 25 km southeast of the district center of Katerynopil and 100 km southwest of the center of Cherkasy Oblast . The T-24-09 territorial road runs through the village .

In the village first mentioned in writing at the beginning of the eighteenth century, after 1861 a. a. a brick factory, 3 blacksmiths and 9 windmills. There was a weekly market and once a year a fair for industrial and agricultural goods was held. The emergence of industrial enterprises and the development of trade, especially of grain, contributed to the population growth. Before 1861 the village had a population of 1164, which grew to 3263 by the beginning of the 20th century.

Mokra Kalyhirka is the administrative center of the rural municipality of the same name in eastern Rajon Katerynopil to which even the villages Ljubystok ( Любисток , ) with about 150 inhabitants, Jelysawetka ( Єлизаветка , ) with about 560 inhabitants, Sucha Kalyhirka ( Суха Калигірка , ) with about 570 inhabitants, Yaroshiwka ( Ярошівка , ) with about 1800 inhabitants and Nadwyssja ( Надвисся , ) with about 200 inhabitants and the settlement Tscherwonyj Brid ( Червоний Брід , ) with about 20 inhabitants.
