The Chasa Baer-Gaudenz ( Chasa in Rhaeto-Romanic in the idiom Vallader for "house") is a listed building in the lower part of the Lower Engadine capital Scuol , where the Engadin's first printing plant was founded.

Owned by the Dorta family, the Engadine house has served as a printing workshop for centuries, primarily for Rhaeto-Romanic Bible translations , such as the Soncha Scrittüra (= "Holy Scripture") from 1679 (predecessor of today's Engadine Romanic Bible edition ) by the reformed pastors Jacob A. Dorta and Jachen Tönet Vulpius , Catechisms and religious writings.

The Gazetta ordinaria da Scuol, the first newspaper of the Free State of the Three Leagues , was also produced here.

In 1881 the printing plant was shut down. In 1935 the house became the property of the Gaudenz family, later it was renamed Baer-Gaudenz.
