After he previously played at Saunders SC Colombo , in the Maldives at Club Valencia in 2002 and 2003 and in the 2004/05 season at Blue Star Kalutara , he moved to Ratnam SC Colombo in 2005 .
National team
He is also a member of the Sri Lankan national soccer team and was part of the runner-up selection in his home country at the 2006 AFC Challenge Cup . So far, 45 international matches have been recorded for him between 2001 and 2009, in which he scored a total of six goals.
