The Ratnam Sports Club is a sports club based in Colombo in Sri Lanka . The men's soccer team currently plays in the country's highest league, the Dialog Champions League .
history
Founded in 1930, the soccer team won in 1998, 2000, 2007, 2008 and 2012. In 2009 the championship final was lost 2-1 to Army SC . The greatest international success was reaching the semi-finals in the AFC President's Cup 2007 . There the Ratnam SC was only eliminated on penalties against Dordoi-Dynamo . The club won the Sri Lanka FA Cup in 2000, 2001, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2009.
