Highway mile
The highway mile was a measure of length and of different dimensions in different states. The measure was used as a distance measure between the highway hour columns. In the Kingdom of Bavaria , for example, the road mile was now 13,000 and old was 26,000 Bavarian feet until the hour was set as the distance of around 12,710 Bavarian feet between two pillars.
