The Chavuma Falls of the Zambezi in Zambia are only a few meters high and in the rainy season are flooded by the river until they are invisible.
However, they are considered the limit of the 800 kilometer long upper course of the river, where it falls by only 180 meters. They are located in the northwest of the country near the town of Chavuma and close to the border of the neighboring state of Angola .
