The cpp chemical plants + processing is a monthly trade magazine that was founded in 1967 and in the Konradin Publishing Group in Leinfelden-Echterdingen is laid.

history
With a print run of 10,000 copies, cav chemie-anlagen + verfahren started in June 1967, initially as a Kohlhammer-Heywood publication that was created in collaboration with "British Chemical Engineering", London. Almost a year later, Konradin-Verlag, Robert Kohlhammer GmbH , Stuttgart, took over the publishing rights for the journals that had been published by Kohlhammer, Heywood & Co., Fachzeitschriftenverlag GmbH, Stuttgart. The publishing house, which was almost 40 years old at the time and founded by Robert Kohlhammer in Berlin in 1929, was already publishing 13 specialist magazines and newspapers. From the beginning, cav chemie-anlagen + verfahren was conceived as a reference number trade journal. H. every editorial contribution and every advertisement is provided with a code number. This allows readers to access more detailed information.
Due to the great interest, the publisher increased the circulation from 10,000 copies in 1967 to over 20,000 today. Most of the circulation goes to companies in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries and the associated plant and apparatus engineering.
In order to do justice to the increasing globalization of companies, cav has been publishing the English-language special edition cpp chemical plants + processing since 1979 . For companies that focus their activities on the People's Republic of China , an edition in Chinese was also published at AchemAsia 2007 in Beijing.

For selected trade fairs, joint trade fair guides are published with the trade journal Dei - die food industry and pharmaceutical production.
The website has offered access to the magazine's contents since 1998. In 2009 the homepage was expanded to become a specialist portal for chemical and pharmaceutical technology with daily news, specialist information, literature presentations and dates from the various industries. Since June 2011 the specialist portal for chemical and pharmaceutical technology has been part of the knowledge portal for the process industry Prozesstechnik-online.de. In addition to the main topics of chemistry, pharmaceuticals and food, it also reports on cross-sectional areas such as energy, environment and knowledge.
