The Konradin Media Group is a media company with headquarters in Leinfelden-Echterdingen . With over 570 employees, the Konradin Media Group is one of the largest providers of specialist information in German-speaking countries. The company deals with a large number of specialist media, knowledge magazines, online portals and specialist events. The media offer is supplemented by services from corporate publishing to printing.
The company was founded in May 1929 as Konradin Verlag Robert Kohlhammer by Robert Kohlhammer (1904–1983), and after the Second World War the printing house Robert Kohlhammer was added. In 1976 it employed 400 people who produced 22 journals for distribution in 136 countries. Since the acquisition of the magazine division of the Deutsche Verlagsanstalt (DVA) in 2003, three special interest titles have been added to the media group's portfolio, which is otherwise geared towards specialist magazines. With the takeover of Heckel GmbH, Nuremberg, the printing company developed under the name KonradinHeckel into one of the leading web offset printers in Germany.
Publishing program
Today the media group is one of the largest providers of specialist information in German-speaking countries. With around 50 specialist media, knowledge magazines, online portals and series of events, supplemented by services from corporate publishing to printing, the media group covers a broad spectrum.
