Chen Chun

Chen Chun (陳 淳, Pinyin: Chén Chún ), (* 1483 ; † 1544 ) was a Chinese painter of the Ming period .

Chen Chun was born in Suzhou , where she learned calligraphy and painting from Wen Zhengming, a famous painter of his time. He developed his own style of washed-out ink painting and thus shaped the style for later generations. His favorite subjects were flowers and landscapes.
