Cheng Ming ( Chinese  程 明 , Pinyin Chéng Míng ; born February 11, 1986 in Jilin ) is a former Chinese archer .

Career

Cheng Ming was part of the Chinese contingent at the 2012 Olympic Games in London . In the individual she scored 651 points in the placement round and won her first two games in the elimination round. In the last sixteen she lost to Khatuna Lorig 3: 7. With the team , however she managed to victories over Italy , the United States and Russia to the finals, where they together with Fang Yuting and Xu Jing to South Korea met. The South Koreans beat the Chinese with 210: 209 and were once again Olympic champions , while Cheng, Fang and Xu received the silver medal. Cheng also won several silver medals at the Asian Games . In Guangzhou in 2010 she was second in both the individual and the team, four years later she repeated this success in Incheon in the team competition.
