The Chertigrad Point (English, Bulgarian нос Чертиград nos Tschertigrad ) is a headland at the Loubet coast of Graham lands north of the Antarctic Peninsula . On the southeast coast of the Arrowsmith Peninsula , it is 8.4 km northeast of Thomson Head on the west side of the entrance to Blind Bay , the northeastern branch and head end of the Bourgeois Fjord .
British scientists mapped it in 1978. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2016 after the medieval fortress of Chertigrad in western Bulgaria .
